Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life

Just wanted to say that I read Jeremy Fink and The Meaning of Life this weekend, and I loved it! Being a parent gave me a new perspective that I did not have the first time that I read the book. Come to the book fair, pick up your own copy of the book, pour yourself a glass of lemonade, find an air-conditioned room, put your feet up, and treat yourself to an amazing book!

  1. Jen,

Well, you've just convinced me to pick this one up this week! Thanks!

  2. Although I have not read this book personally, my sister, who is in 6th grade, loved it. As a matter of fact, she actually purchased several Wendy Mass books as a result of loving this book. She gives it two thumbs up.

  3. I loved the anecdote about "which wolf will win" in the final chapter. It reminds me of what I say to students all of the time: Use your powers for good and not evil. I was also really struck by the friendship between Jeremy and Lizzy. I wish I had a friendship like theirs when I was a growing up.

  4. I just bought Jeremy Fink on my kindle and I'm hooked! The way Wendy Mass describes the characters is so funny. I feel like I can already relate to them. I'm pretty early in the book, and Jeremy just received the box- so suspenseful! I'll be here on the beach looking forward to "the meaning of life!!"
